WHEN THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECASTS THE TEMPERATURE TO BE 32 DEGREES OR BELOW:

THE SHELTERS NOTED WILL BE PROVIDING OVERFLOW BEDS FOR THOSE SEEKING TO GET OUT OF THE COLD TEMPERATURES. THESE RESOURCES ARE IN ADDITION TO REGULAR CAPACITY AT OVERNIGHT SHELTERS IN OKC. FREE BUSES TO A SHELTER WHEN THE WEATHER IS BELOW FREEZING IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS, YOU WILL JUST NEED TO LET THE DRIVER KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOING TO THE SHELTER.

Additional Information:

When the National Weather Service forecasts the temperature to be 32 degrees or below, the shelters listed above will be providing overflow beds for those seeking to get out of the cold temperatures. These resources are in addition to regular capacity at overnight shelters in Oklahoma City.

The buses in the metro provide free transportation to the shelters above when the temperature is below 32°F. To take advantage of this, you need to let the driver know you are going to the shelter.</B.
