Meet Tommie – A client, son, brother and a graduate of our 90-day program Misdemeanor Diversion! This court-ordered program through Diversion Hub gives individuals the opportunity to get their misdemeanor charge dismissed without costs as a result of working with a Case Manager on a needs-based service plan and getting connected to life-stabilizing resources.
In our interview with Mr. Johnson, he explained the passion he had for Diversion Hub while going through this experience and that he began handing out brochures for people he knew that he needed help. “If you want it, it’s here for you”, he explained. Through this program, we were able to connect Tommie with Sooner Care, housing, employment applications, identification cards, ensuring court dates are planned and accounted for, and more. Tommie made sure to let us know how grateful he was and that he is proud of how far he has come.
